Whenever someone asks me what my favorite food is, the answer is always the same—pizza. My first job in a restaurant was as a pizza cook, and since then, I’ve been fortunate to explore a wide variety of styles and recipes. From working at Pennsylvania’s first Vera Pizza Napoletana-certified pizzeria to crafting pies in my own backyard oven, I’ve developed a deep knowledge and love for pizza that I’m excited to share with you.
All levels of cooking abilities are welcome in my classes.
Minimum of 6 participants required for all private classes.
*Children under 18 wanting to attend a class with 6 or more adults will be $30 per child
Note: A large kitchen with a center island is ideal for any class. Smaller kitchens may require we limit the amount of equipment and thus the amount of pizza produced.
Let's bring the pizza shop into your house. Chef Joe will arrive with everything you need to make fantastic pizza in your own kitchen. Aside from ingredients we will bring pizza steels to use in your kitchen oven to cook/reheat the pizza on, screens for holding and pizza boxes will be available so all the leftovers can be packed up to store in the fridge or go home with your guests!

Do you have an outdoor pizza oven and are looking to dial in your recipe and technique? I can help! I have worked with almost every kind of oven imaginable from wood fired brick ovens, coal fired, ooni, gozney and everything in between. We will make dough for your specific style of oven and get you on the fast track to being a pizza pro! Aside from your oven, chef Joe will also bring a gas fired pizza oven of his own to keep the party going.

This class is for the pizzaiolo of the family who wants to enhance their pizza game using their oven. Chef Joe will give you recipes tailored to meet your needs and the two of you will make dough by hand that you will ferment and use at a later date. Joe will bring 12 pizza doughs that you will make together. to really dial in your cooking process. You will decide on pizza toppings before hand and they are completely up to you. This class if for only ONE participant.
