I'm a professional chef based in Pittsburgh, PA where I'm the corporate development chef for Giant Eagle grocery stores. With me free time, I teach private cooking classes on pasta or pizza in the comfort of your own home. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned home cook, I will teach you valuable tips and tricks to successfully produce restaurant quality food in your own kitchen. My goal is to give you the recipes, skills and confidence that you need to produce fresh pasta or pizzas for your family again and again with ease. Everything we make in class we eat! Once you have taken a class with me, I will supply you with recipes, ingredient and equipment recommendations and special discounts on handcrafted wooden ravioli molds.
Food has been a love of mine since childhood. Growing up, I would spend the summers with my grandparents and even at a young age, I was always in the kitchen or garden with them. Little did I know that my attraction to food would turn into a career that would take me around the world. For the past two decades, I have cooked in kitchens from Hawaii to Europe and would love nothing more than to share my culinary journey with you. I have competed in multiple national and international cooking competitions and was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2020 IKA Culinary Olympics in Stuttgart, Germany. After spending many years at prestigious properties like The Greenbrier and Rolling Rock Club, I'm excited to be able to offer private dining events and cooking classes.
